Regional Sales Manager - Foodservice - Northeast United States
Rosina is a privately-held manufacturer of frozen specialty food products. Primary products include meatballs (and other related protein items), filled & unfilled pasta, eggplant cutlets and a variety of Italian themed entrees. Working from home office in Western New York, will be responsible for new business development and coordination of existing sales to distributor and operator accounts. Responsibility may include the management of brokers within the assigned region. The individual will be involved in the planning, directing, and implementing various programs consistent with Company goals and objectives.
Other responsibilities will include:
Develops, maintains and promotes foodservice sales efforts by effective regular and
systematic contact with current and potential customers. This will include the
development of the distributor sales effort. Focus will be to maximize the sales and
profitability of all company products in the assigned region.
Cultivate and leverage existing relationships with regional operator accounts to further
penetrate accounts with existing product categories.
In concert with the Foodservice Management and Marketing team, develops market
strategies, which are consistent with our Company’s capabilities and goals. Will be
responsible for formulating the region’s annual sales plan, including anticipated
Will be required to develop significant knowledge of the Company products and
capabilities. Will be viewed by our customers as a valuable resource for product and
Will be required to manage distributor and operator trade spending, promotional
programs and other related activities in accordance with Company guidelines.
Desired skill and expertise:
Individual will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University; and five to ten-years related experience serving in a Foodservice sales role with a manufacturer, foodservice distributor, or food broker. The individual must have strong communication, organizational and computer skills. Associates must possess a strong knowledge of the foodservice industry, focused on sales. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively in the assigned region.
